Handmade rice bags are a great and convenient way to have a heating pad without having to plug in. Toss them in the microwave for a minute or two depending on your microwave and apply as you would a heat pad. They are great for therapy, pain relief, muscle aches, menstrual cramps, inflammation or any other reason you would want to apply heat. Use them to wrap your neck, on your back, shoulders, knees, lower abdomen or any other area needing muscle pain relief. They also work great to warm your toes in bed or to keep a dish warm on the dinner table. Put them in a bag in the freezer for 1-2 hours and they work great as an ice/cold pack. In addition to medicinal purposes they are helpful in the heat of the summer to help cool you off.

You have the option of unscented or lavender scented with 100% essential lavender oil.

The rice bag is sewn in three sections to keep the rice evenly distributed. It wraps and forms nicely to get to more of the area you need help. It is made from two pretty coordinating patterns and makes a great gift or for your own use. It measures approximately 13" x 6".
